I used to have quite a collection of international coins...one of my favorate type, were British trade tokens of the 18th century. These tokins were used in stores and minted privately, because official pennies were scarce due to all the copper being used to make cannons for war. The tokins show a variety of themes including famous personalities of the times, various tradespeople , or themes such as the abolution of slavery.

I love collecting coins, but I only collect what is given to me or what I find. I don't buy 'rare' ones (except maybe once or twice).

I just found a coin from Singapore on the street the other night, which was pretty neat.

Does anyone know if a Nazi coin is rare at all?
