I've thought of that before. They've made movies based on that premise. We used to have horse racing here. I loved going and betting. Low stakes. Dog racing was big here also and it's gone. That one is in a Christians Only Forum. I've dropped in occasionally to see how it's going. It looks like the Barbarian will sort it out.

I was just having a similar conversation over in the open Evolution Forum. The issue is usually lack of knowledge on the part of the Creationists allied with a stubborn disinclination to learn.

I think he's very tolerant - almost gentle - given the rubbish he's getting. Typically, in these conversations the goal posts get shifted all around the paddock by Creationists trying to avoid justifying the vague statements they tend to make.

The Barb is always willing to provide more explanations if his interlocutors are interested. They are rarely interested.

Most of CF is 'Christians Only'. We're restricted to the social type forums along with an open access Debate & Discussion which includes an Evolution/Creation Forum. There is also a Christians Only version of the Evolution/Creation Forum.

Since CF is a forum for Christians, I have no problem with restricting access by non-Christians. Sometimes discrimination is not unreasonable. I have no particular interest or expertise in Christian dogma or theology. I only become interested where Christian beliefs interact with my world in a negative way.
