this is true..thank God He does do this. I agree...God also knows the ones who will ignore His grace...but He still doesn't neglect any of us.
Peace be with you.
this is true..thank God He does do this. I agree...
My point about truth hurting..is Rick pointed out truth to Veritas..and she didn't like it. Went right to an attack...
I hadn't got to all of it yet But I am working at it.did you read the rest of my post?...
The tree of life is Jesus... the river of life is the Church of Jesus, the same river of Genesis 2:10.
The Tree of Life is also the Church of Christ of Mat.13:
He told them another parable: The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches. (Mat.13:31-32, Lk.13:19).
Only one tree, only one Church of Christ (Jn.14, 1Cor.12, Rom.12, 1Pet.2).
Adam and Eve choose to eat from the forbidden tree, instead of from the tree of life... we often do the same, we eat from the forbidding Commandments of God, instead of eating from Jesus and His Church.
Veritas;32676482Just an FYI: Mary as "co-redeemer" is not official Church teaching and even though some do openly refer to her as such said:Thank you Veritas.
I was just wondering where this
came from.

You have to go back to Chapter 21 to read What it is that is being written here. This is talking about the New Jerusalem..Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. (Rev.22:1-2).

I do love you..honestly. I am not being smart. Sorry if I have offended you in any way. I ask for forgiveness...I hate doing this because I know how much you love it, but this is not what happened. Rick didn't even bother to engage me in a logical debate regarding the topic. He went straight to personal attack...there was no "truth" as you would like to believe. Now....this is all I'm going to say. I realize that you will respond but I'm not going to involve myself in a t*# for tat as much as you would enjoy it. I'm sorry, dear, since I don't want to disappoint.
You have to go back to Chapter 21 to read What it is that is being written here. This is talking about the New Jerusalem..
Then we go to Chapter 22 Which describes it some more... This is what these scriptures are talking about..1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
5He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
6He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
9One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." 10And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. 11It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 16The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadiain length, and as wide and high as it is long. 17He measured its wall and it was 144 cubits thick by man's measurement, which the angel was using. 18The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.21The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass. 22I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.
This is all about the new Jerusalem.. SO what are you getting at here? What are you trying to say?1Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. 6The angel said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place."
Jesus says, "I am the vine, you are the branches" (Jn 15:5)
In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. (Gen.2:9).
The Tree of Life is the Jesus of the Book of Revelation:
- To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. (Rev.2:7).
- Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. (Rev.22:1-2).

Don't know quite what you are saying here either.. Number one Gods commandments are not forbidden.. So this confused me some.. Number two we don't eat from Gods Church. We are to eat the bread of Life.. THe words of God..His word is Spirit and it is truth to them who find them.. The Church is Christs body.. not our dinner table..Only one tree, only one Church of Christ (Jn.14, 1Cor.12, Rom.12, 1Pet.2).

The word itself is not in there this is true but you see the trinity at work from Genesis to Revelation.. You don't see Mary being referred to at all for being the new Eve. In fact it is not even hinted at.. Someone somewhere along the line must have thought this on thier own.. Husband and wife = Mother and Son? Nope don't add up.
This is very interesting.Would you agree that because Eve disobeyed God, that death came into the world?
Now would you agree that because Mary obeyed God, that life came into the world?
Mary, by her obedience, returned to us what Eve lost.
This is very interesting.
1 Timothy 2:14-15
14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman, having been deceived, into transgression came,
15 and she shall be saved through the child-bearing, if they remain in faith, and love, and sanctification, with sobriety.
With these two scriptures not a one of them talks of Mary. You need to read them in context.Yes verse 14 shows how Eve brought death to the world.

No she didn't, it was Adam, Eve was fooled, Adam was not, and the Bible says sin and death entered by one man, Adam. He knew what he was doing.
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Rom 5:11 And not only [so], but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Rom 5:12 ¶ Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Rom 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
Rom 5:15 But not as the offence, so also [is] the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, [which is] by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
Rom 5:16 And not as [it was] by one that sinned, [so is] the gift: for the judgment [was] by one to condemnation, but the free gift [is] of many offences unto justification.
Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Rom 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one [judgment came] upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one [the free gift came] upon all men unto justification of life.
Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Rom 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
When eve stepped out of her submissive spot she was deceived.. When Adam took at ate sin entered
John 6:35 Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.Don't know quite what you are saying here either..
