Cloud Formations...?

It has been stated on numerous occasions that there were miraculous cloud formations over Jerusalem in AD66+ and that this was a coming of Christ.

This has been stated by at least a few of the preterists here..

So please elaborate.. as much detail as possible.

What leads anyone here to believe that cloud formations can be a coming of Christ?

Also.. if cloud formations can count as comings of Christ.. then what's the number of comings of Christ according to cloud formations?

Josephus had a cousin, Perpiphulus, he was photographer, and I believe he took HDR images of those exact cloud formations. The pics are grainy because they are 2000 years old, but you get the gist.

Just gotta search the internet for them, I know they exist somewhere.

1. Nero was the Antichrist. There will be no future individual Antichrist.

2. The Tribulation Period is already over. It occurred when the Roman army besieged Jerusalem in AD 66-70.

3. Christ “returned” in the clouds in AD 70 to witness the destruction of Jerusalem by the Roman army.

4. God replaced Old Testament Israel with the Church. Therefore, all the biblical promises to Israel belong to the Church.

5. Armageddon already happened in AD 70. The fall of “Babylon” refers to the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans.

6. Satan is already bound in the abyss and cannot hinder the spread of the Gospel. Revelation 20 has already been fulfilled.

7. We are already in the Millennium, but it is not literal. Some preterists equate the entire Church Age as the Millennium. The 1,000 years are not literal but figurative, even though they are mentioned six times in Revelation 19-20.

I certainly didn't know that.. that they believe there is no sin.

Are you sure?

Because if so, it doesn't get much more blind than that me thinks..

Oh yeah, ask Ebed, he will no doubt tell you all about how satan has been bound, and that sin was ended just as Daniel 9:24 prophesies.

Its actually pretty funny. They say satan is bound but he works through his "agencies".

Dan 9:24 "A period of seventy sets of seven has been decreed for your people and your holy city to finish their rebellion, to put an end to their sin, to atone for their guilt, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to confirm the prophetic vision, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.

#4 is right. Revelation starts out with Jesus addressing the seven churches not the seven synagogues.

Truly remarkable then.. it's a sad thing to believe we have no sin and that only proves a couple things to me..

1. There is no truth in them..
2. Because if there was TRUTH in them, the Truth to be more specific.. then they would see the wretched man that they are.. even as Paul did..

This is certainly why we wait for the adoption.. to wit, the redemption of these bodies of 'death' so that we shall be clothed with a new body which is fashioned like unto HIS GLORIOUS and incorruptible body..

Even in the blink of an eye..

This is because Revelation 2-3 pertains to the things which are.. this present time when Christ continues to build His church while Israel remains blinded in part until the fullness of the GENTILES be come in.

There can be only one result in ignoring what is perhaps one of the most important warnings to the body of Christ..

And that is becoming wise in our own conceits.

Revelation 4 onward pertains to the things which shall be.. here.. after..

Replacement theology.

Inconsistent with scripture.

Those Churches are the modern day Church.

Thats why they are written to the "Angel" of the churches.

We each fall into one of those churches as Christians.

You teach replacement theology for you have replaced the church with physical Israel! Two can play at that game.

So referring to the church at Pergamos where Satan's seat is and where he dwells - When did this happen historically?

No, There is only going to be a Christian church when God judges the Jews and saves his remnant.

Christs church is established already. The only prophecy left is for Gods remnant, Jews, to come to Christ.

We arent replacing anything, they are the fulfillment of prophecy.

Zec_12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Rev_1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
