Ok, im a total surfer girl and i know billabong is a aussie original....where in aussieland is it located?? do you know?? and doesnt billabong mean wateringhole or something?? those two companies are SOOO huge here in san diego

well, i had put volcom too, but i wasnt sure.....

We usually have the brand stocked in various stores (City Beach, Surf City, to name a few).

But I THINK the Billabong factory is in Torquay, Southern Victoria... about 2 hours south of Melbourne... Not sure about volcom (I just see 12 year olds coming out of City Beach with the latest volcom stock every day)

I posted above and said its at Burleigh on the Gold Coast. Thats there world HQ though im sure they make things in other areas. Its a huge complex the size of an aircraft hanger and its all done up to look like a hawai beach hut. It looks great. I cant find any photos online

I just checked the website, and it's an LA brand - the only store for it is located in LA, and they sell items out of other big stores (City Beach et al) in Australia...

Yeah.... Billabong and Ripcurl and Quicksilver and Roxy all orginated from Torquay.....along the western ish coast of victoria, thats were all the factories and shops are.....and the SECONDS SHOPS!! WOOT!! they sell stuff really cheap there....but not many ppl know about them!
