I don't know too much about hard sciences and I'm not sure how to word this question... But I was wondering if any one can explain to me the difference of Cloning and God creation of life. From what I generally understand.. cloning does not create the actual cell and DNA structure that is the significant of the creation of life. And that a cell has not been replicated in a lab yet?

The difference would be the creation of the soul. Cloning will not create a soul, as far as I believe.

My wife did some cloning of rats DNA for a paper submission into a scientific journal. It was on the death cell. She actually cloned the DNA of the rat.

As far as humans go, I have not read up on the subject if they have done similiar things. I believe I have heard about cell replication.

Then the soul comes from where? This was the approximate argument that some people in the 18th and 19th used against black people - that they didn't have a soul.

If cloning a human doesn't produce a "real" human then what? An animal that can be used as a slave?
