  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I would have gotten one if they didn't cost so much money.

But when I look at the amount of money that they cost I didn't think it was worth it at all.

BTW why would you want a ring? I already gave you one. :p

JK do what you like my dear.

CELESTRIUM! That's the name of the stainless steel alloy I was trying to think of. I wish I had bought one of those instead of the gold one.

My mom made me get one, thought she was doing me some huge favor by buying one for me apparently. Yeah, I loathed high school and didn't want anything to remember it by, but anyway :p

I got a non-traditional school ring, not the big band with the huge stone in the middle. It was "different" and a very pretty ring... in the end, I lost it a year later and didn't care at all. Like I said, loathed high school, wasn't sad to see the thing disappear into oblivion.

Thus I think it was a huge waste of money, but that's just me.

I don't like the stone in the middle either. I was always afraid it might break or something. I didn't know what color to get either. Some people got their birthstone. Some got the "school" color. I actually sort of wanted a black onyx. (Like Dracula. Yeah!)

Well at first I kinda thought it was a waste but now I'm a little glad I got one. I was in the last graduating class of my school before it got completely consolidated by a bigger school. So the ring serves as a nice memento (though I don't wear it) as to the way things were before Mike Huckabee came along and decided all the schools needed to be "bigger".
