CivIII Anyone?

Does anyone play Civilization III? That is one of the best sim games made, and I had some questions.

I just started playing, and there is a lot to learn. What are your questions?

Oh I figured most of it out last night (playing forever...no sleep!).....man that game is fun. Hard though in a way...I am sure it will get easier in time, when I stick with a certain strategy.

I am still finding some of it hard to do, especially since I haven't played it since I was a kid (and I wasn't good then either). In particular, the Germans seem to be too hard to beat. Any suggestions?

I used to LOVE civ games! Kinda replaced 'civIII' with 'Hearts of Iron' myself though. The Germans are identical to every other group in civIII save for their two special abilities and one unit? Why trouble with them? The French in civIII have the best special setup, or I thought anyways.

Civ 3 roolz!!! Hey, anyone up for a civ-3 contest? We do it at work...someone starts a game and saves it at first turn and explains the rules...(Civs-world-victory conditions)...

i've just sold my civ3... it is a great game, but man, does it take a long time (at least i find it addicting ) so after a few months of breathing it, i sold it! hehe
maybe i'll pick it up again when it is cheap
