Tuesday I researched and got to buy a Church directory porgram

Before then, I made one in Publisher but it was really a pain to edit... Adding a person in the middle meant shuffeling all the entries behind it, one at a time Time consuming...

So Pastor let me look around to see if I could find something easier. We have a member program but their directory was icky so we dumped it long ago

I am such a nerdball I am really happy with it and I got a rough draft done in about an hour this afternoon

I never heard of that one. We use Shepherd's Staff. I'm still trying to figure out all the ins and outs of it, though.

I just googled church directory program

It is fairly simple but we have programs for everything else so that is all we wanted

Pictures and names and addresses and pages for pastor to write a letter and pages for staff and elders and activities

Imported the member info from Outlook and added pictures, it was a snap

we used to use shepherd's staff -- at least for the money aspect of donations -- and it wasn't the most fun! we had it on our computer because my dad was in charge of the giving statements...
