  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am a mature Christian but I am also a retired scientist, mathematician and educator. I am not interested in conspiracy theories.
The HAR1f gene differs by two nucleotides between chickens and the chimpanzee, which represents 350 million years of evolution. Then a sequence 117 nucleotides long takes on 18 substitutations. That in addition to 60 de novo brain related genes and a massive overhaul of thousands of others, two million years ago overnight. You call that science? I call that supposition on steroids.

Indeed life does come from life. Who's arguing with that ? The 'Cambrian explosion', alone, discredits Evolution. And as for the finches, the changes were minor - not of body parts - and soon reverted with a change ack to normal in the climate.

Further evidence discrediting Neo Darwinism (Darwinism, as such, is no longer believed is it ?) was I think recent discovery of a fossil of a very early, yet very complex creature, when Evolutionists have held that creatures became more and more complex.
