Put Genesis 1 in chronological order, with respect to evolution.

This is drastically oversimplified: I'll add time references when I get the chance.

First, life evolved.

then groups of humans began forming social groups which eventually formed civilizations.

most of these civilizations developed oral traditions of mythology, many of which which were eventually written down.

One such group, known as the "Hebrews," developed such a tradition which has since become known as Genesis 1. It too, was eventually written down.

Well, there you have it!

First, some stuff happened.
Then some other stuff happened.
Then people happened, but they didn't know about the stuff that happened so they made stuff up and wrote it down.
Then more stuff happened, and people figured out what they wrote down was wrong, but because their entire worldview was based on the stuff they wrote down they chose to ignore it and/or rage against it (like it was a machine, or something)
Then some other stuff happened, and then it was now, and then I don't know what happened.

Put Genesis 1 in chronological order, with respect to evolution.

Put Genesis 1 in chronological order, with respect to Genesis 2.
And why would I be interested in trying something as futile as that? Your book of fairy tales doesn't hold up when common sense is applied, let alone when you attempt to make it conform to reality.

Quit making threads for others to verify your own [edit] logic for you.

LOL --- it's actually a request for someone to do just the opposite.

I'da thought you "experts" would have been falling over each other to answer this, but I guess it's too hard a task.

Since you "scientists" aren't getting a grant or some type of recognition for this --- reluctance rules?

Proving your theories for you is supposed to do the opposite?

YEC "reasoning" at its finest.

I'da thought you "experts" would have been falling over each other to answer this, but I guess it's too hard a task.

yet another in your long, unbroken (and to date, record-setting) streak of misconceptions.

Since you "scientists" aren't getting a grant or some type of recognition, reluctance rules?

What's the current grant with attempting to reconcile Hebrew mythology with biology?

Ok...

The universe happened.
The sun came along.
The earth came along in orbit around the sun.
Soon there were men.
Men wrote the Bible.
For about 2000 years that was the best men could do.
Then we figured out evolution.
In Chronological order Genesis I came first, then Evolution.
Genesis... a buncha guys who thought the earth was flat and the sun was a thing that revolved around it. Maybe it was a guy in a flaming chariot.
Evolution... the product of the observation of the world around us over the centuries despite the best efforts of the church to squelch it.

That's Genesis with respect to evolution... chronologically.

Whooooooooooo!

LOL --- you don't even understand the OP --- do you?

Here --- let me try --- maybe that'll kick-start something in your icons:
  1. sun
  2. moon
  3. stars
  4. earth
  5. ocean
  6. atmosphere
  7. plant life
  8. ocean life
  9. whales
  10. land animals
  11. birds
  12. man
How far off am I?

Put Genesis 1 in chronological order, with respect to evolution.
A very simple version, using only the organisms described in Genesis 1, would go like this:

1. God creates aquatic animals
2. God creates terrestric plants
3. God creates grass
4. God creates seeds.
5. God creates mammals
6. God creates whales
7. God creates humans.

This is an insult unto the mighty Harry Potter. Burn, heretic scum!

Ha. Of course those "newbies" come along trying to look all "real" and stuff. But we all know who was on the scene first.

As someone recently pointed out to me:

There is but one JRR and Christopher is his prophet.

Just think about it. People who love Harry Potter just love it because they haven't been shown the TRUE way.

Can I talk to you about Beren and Luthien today? Please don't fall under the spell of Ungoliant.

What's wrong here?
You're trying to make mythology match up to facts.

Don't wanna look foolish in front of your colleagues?
Which is why I don't try. It's pointless.

Afraid you might get it wrong?
It's not possible to get right. Whatever one says someone comes along with a different interpretation and says you're wrong.

Whoooooooooo! God is mysterious... Whooooooooo!
