Well I don't know... but I do know that Jesus said this:
John*5:46 "For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me.
John*5:47 "But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?"
Does that mean anything necessarily directly about it? I don't think so personally because that seems slightly out of the context of the verse I am presenting. All I know is that that verse popped into my head when I started thinking of how to respond.
And Ikester... I saw you wrote this in the quote provided in post #1...
John never said this phrase about the whole Bible... only about the specific book of Revelation. I say this so that you won't worry about that any more... just don't add to Revelation any.
But I say this because I see many people take that verse from Revelation and apply it to the whole Bible which is not what it was intended for. Yes I agree that adding and changing the Bible is bad... but the verse should not be taken out of context like that. Sorry bro
I don't believe in evolution myself... just in case any of you are wondering. I believe that God created everything in 6 days, but He didn't create everything initially 6 days old. What do I mean? Well think... God created Adam as a full grown man. So Adam looked 20 and had the bone structure of a 20-year old (guessing at age)... but was only 0 in all reality. He couldn't have had his mom raise him now could he?
So why couldn't God do the same with the rest of the universe? Create it in the appearance to a human of being billions of years old... and yet be only 0 days in the making? It's not out of His capabilities...
Well that's my thoughts... have a great day!

Revelation 22:18-19, 18. For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
This is the main reason I believe in the six day creation. If I change God's word than these things shall happen to me.
