The time of the double standard has come to an end. It is time we stand up for what is right, not only in America, but in the Middle East as well. We must rally together to demand that Christians and Christian churches be given the same freedom to worship in Egypt as Muslims have in the United States.

Today, the churches in Egypt live and operate in fear for their families, their lives and their property because they have placed their hope in Jesus Christ. There is constantly the threat of attack or retaliation from Muslims because the name of Jesus is spoken as savior and redeemer. The Egyptian legislature and law enforcement do not offer equal protection for Christians, and they are regularly denied building permits for new churches and church restoration.
The church of today has fallen into a false sense of security and has convinced themselves that everything will always be peaceful and safe, both history and current events tell us that simply is not the case. If we do not take a stand and raise our voices all will be lost.
The time to stand up is now! The time to have your voice be heard!
