I hear a lot from the older generation how hip hop is not Christian and how it cannot be godly just because of the how most people look that do hip hop music. What are your thoughts? I personally like and artist by the name Jay Matthews. Go check him out on youtube search Jay Matthews - Earn your Wings. I would love to hear your thoughts. I relate to him so much he does have songs that have "Cursing" in some of them but he is always showing his love for god even though he struggles every day like me personally. I actually like that when a person can be upfront and not hide themselves from us. It shows they are a real person and are not perfect. Please Let me know your thoughts if this is a wrong way to view myself as a Christian I would like to know.
