I'm very glad to see this, despite the disrespectful debating that isn't allowed in this forum.

Some may not like to hear this , but the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches , and I quote

" The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God ."

The Catechism is quoting the Dogmatic Constitution on the Church (Lumen Gentium) of the 21st Ecumenical Council of the Church .

I would refer visitors to this forum that it is a Catholic forum and they need to abide by Statement of Purpose - TLT Statement of Purpose

Yes , One Voice Among Many , it is good news to hear of Christians and Muslims in fellowship .

As for the disrespectful debating , some of which is a breaking of the rules of the forum , I put it down to lack of knowledge of what the Church teaches .

Some don't realise that the Church teaches that the plan of salvation includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims . These profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God .
