Perhaps many miss the point that Christianity became a religion when the worldly within used it for their own purpose rather than the original intent as a way of life contrary to the traditional ways of man. Christianity could not help but attain the same dual nature as mankind as mankind recreated it in their own image, with those of the world rather than the Kingdom, eventually becoming the ruling majority there also and as usual.

Christianity became legal around 300's, are you saying people weren't religious until that happened?

Christianity is the religion of the followers of Christ.
I know plenty of religious Christians who don't follow Christ, and I know plenty of people who follow Christ who aren't religious.
It is possible to be religious AND follow Christ, but the two are not mutually exclusive.

Note: Sorry, I got that the wrong way around. I meant "mutually inclusive".

Saying its a religion is basically blasphemy. Your saying its equal to all other religions. Religions are religious. Christianity is a walk with God.
Where does it say all religions are equals? Christianity is the true religion.
