Christian woman hurled from building in Pakistan
Doctors say that an 18-year-old Christian student in Karachi will not be able to walk again after she was pushed from the second floor of a building for refusing to marry a Muslim and convert to Islam.
Binish (pictured) had been stalked for months by a man who wanted to marry her and convert her. Our contact reports that when she refused his approach, he got angry and started beating her; after that he took her to the second floor of a building and pushed her out.
She was later taken to hospital by her parents. Doctors said that her spine and legs had been fractured and she can never walk or even sit again.
Her parents went to the police station to file a complaint but the police did not record it. Instead, as frequently happens in cases brought by Christians, they supported the accused. (Source: Release contact)

At least 27 people, including a church pastor, died following raids by Fulani militants on five mainly Christian communities in northeast Nigeria between September 13-16. Many drowned trying to escape via the local river. (Source: World Watch Monitor)
The life of Leah Sharibu, the 15-year-old schoolgirl abducted by Boko Haram terrorists in northern Nigeria in February, is in immediate danger. Her abductors have threatened to execute her at the end of the month if the Government does not meet their demands. Please pray that Leah and others held will be released unharmed. (Source: CSW)
