My final authority is the bible., I do not see woolly mammoths or dinosaurs in the bible.

Did they even exist?

I don't know, you're the one that brought them up, not me. But if they did exist they were created on Day 6.

I knew some people 20+ years ago that insisted the dinosaurs and other "prehistoric monsters" were the result of the devil trying to be creative; (decoupling them from Creation Week altogether) but I do not believe God ever allowed him that kind of power.

The Bible does not say that Satan created anything physical or material so I would agree with you.

As a matter of fact, Satan can't do anything unless God gives him the okay. God tells Satan exactly what he can and can't do. We learn this from the book of Job.

I took a Genesis class once years ago and the teacher said that man and dinosaurs lived side by side.
I tried really hard to imagine having a normal society in normal cities with a pack of T-Rex's running around. Doesn't seem possible. The teacher said that T-Rex dinos were vegetarians and left people alone.

Years later I heard another explanation taken from the book of Enoch. It said that the "sons of God" came down to earth, mated with humans and began to "sin" against the animals and the plants. Meaning, they did not CREATE the horrific creatures, but rather knew how to manipulate DNA, thus changing offspring from a harmless plant eating animal into a flesh eating monster.

I just think that nobody knows for sure and nobody is going to know.

How can you say that? Read Genesis without "scientific" presupposed assumptions or assumptive abiogenesis.

If you read it as a child reads it, only then will you see the truth. And the truth will set you free from the sin of the world.

There is no answer, easy or otherwise, since the bible does not address that issue at all.
God called on the earth to create all animals including man.
Evidence suggests this took some time.

Reads to be pretty old.

Habakkuk 3:6 He stood, and shook the earth; he looked, and made Yes, the perpetual mountains were shattered, The ancient hills collapsed. ... The
age-old mountains break apart; the ancient hills sink down. ...

Genesis 49:26 Your father's blessings are greater than the blessings of the oldest
mountains and the riches of the ancient hills.

Deuteronomy 33:15 with the choicest gifts of the ancient mountains
... the finest fruits from the oldest mountains, the best from the ancient hills, .... ...

Psalm 76:4 You are more majestic than the ancient mountains. ...

Is there an easy answer to the existence of prehistoric animals for you?

They all lived in the ancient mountains.

Habakkuk 3:6 He stood, and shook the earth; he looked, and made Yes, the perpetual mountains were shattered, The ancient hills collapsed. ... The
age-old mountains break apart; the ancient hills sink down

I was referring specifically to the creation recorded in Genesis 1 & 2.

I was referring specifically to the creation recorded in Genesis 1 & 2.

God had the ancient earth create all plants, then later all animals. I've grown things. It takes a while. All children know this. Before man started writing, all animals would be prehistoric.

11Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth vegetation, seed-bearing plants and fruit trees, each bearing fruit with seed according to its kind.” And it was so. 12The earth produced vegetation, seed-bearing plants according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

24And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: the livestock, the creatures that move along the ground, and the wild animals, each according to its kind." And it was so.

You'd better read it again. That's not what it says.

-God said, “Let the earth bring forth vegetation
-God said, "Let the land produce living creatures (incl. man)
-God said, "Let us re-make mankind in our image
(Change his Spirit)

"re-make" --- that's not what it says.

Very true. Just another example of a macroevolutionist bending scripture to suit his silly theories.

The creation of the first man and woman is described in great detail. Adam and Eve were the first 2 people ever. Macroevolution could not have possible taken place in the 5 days before that.

The days of creation in Genesis are each 24 hour periods. Most all Bible scholars agree on that. No time for evolutuon - at all - macroevolutuon simply did not happen.

Well, that's one interpretation.
