Here is a burglar that keeps on burglarizing because he never goes to prison. Just watch the last minute of the video .
The people who want gun control are soft on crime . Therefore gun control is NOT about making the streets safer . It's not about making anything safer. If you truly cared about innocent deaths you'd stop voting for people who are soft on crime.

A hand gun is a device used to protect.
Not that long ago, a terrorist went inside a Local Church in the States, and was walking toward the pulpit with a shotgun, under his raincoat.
As He opened the raincoat and started to lift the shotgun for the purpose of beginning to murder the congregation, a believer with a hand gun, stood up, drew his weapon, fired, and killed the potential murderer.
No charges were filed, and a lot of happy Christians didnt have to DIE, thanks to this man's heroic and smart decision to PROTECT innocent people's lives.

Also, the NT says that if you dont provide for your family, you are worse then an infidel, and have denied the Faith.

So, providing for their PROTECTION = your family, from rape, murder, or similar, using a handgun, or a baseball bat, or the front grill of your car.....is providing for your family, as you just kept them alive, and safe, and provided this for them.

2 in 3 gun deaths are by the person's own hand and most of the others are either in the commission of some other crime, gang related or would have happened anyway. By this I mean that a person wanted a particular person or persons dead and would have killed them one way or another. Very few gun deaths are completely random or happen for no reason.

There is a difference between living by the sword and using the sword. Living by the sword is using violence as a way of life being forced to use the sword to defend yourself or others is not living by the sword.

gun control is not just about hunting; moreover guns are not the only things used for hunting. I personally do not support gun control, but to suggest a Christian cannot because they are used for hunting is not a vivid argument.

except that law abiding citizens do not commit murder as murder is the the killing of another person without lawful excuse and usually with malice of forethought. As to drunk driving we do have those laws the only way to completely remove drunk driving would be to remove any transportation people can drive which of course is not reasonable.

Actually, not only are most gun deaths with handguns, but most are by the shooters own hand. If you wanted to save the most lives why would you ban the types of guns that take way less than half of the total lives lost to guns each year?

If you want a non-automatic or non-semiautomatic, stock gun without the upgrades for the purposes of hunting, then super. However, an overwhelming number of gun sales are not to people who want to hunt, and none of the semi-automatic, enhanced non-automatic, AR-15 style guns are appropriate or designed for hunting animals. There is literally no reason the layman needs those and I’m perfectly fine with those being severely limited and/or banned.

Except that considering that there are millions in this country would not really be reasonable. They were banned for ten years and what happened was congress allowed a per-determined ban to lapse.

At the end of the day people either can or cannot be trusted with guns those who can be trusted do not need those laws and those who cannot do not care. No matter what TOOL we are talking about they do not act on their own.

The supposed "good guy with a gun" is rare, almost mythical.
I haven't compared the numbers but I'd be willing to guess that the instances of a good guy with a gun prevailing is less than the number of children killing themselves or others.

What you are advocating increases the number of casualties. More guns = more gun violence. That holds true all over the world with no exceptions.
Uvalde had armed security.

Two issues good guys with guns are less likely to make the national news and number two how many times ( and this there is no way of really knowing is a crime not committed in a particular place because other people there may be armed.
