I don't need to see that. I used to post in the political forums when I came. But the Lord made me stop. He said it wasn't edifying. I'd never done it before and didn't understand the incivility or how political Christians were. It was more contentious then. He didn't want me involved.

I go to a secular site now and they're footloose. I read a train wreck that required me to google the terms they exchanged. I'd never heard them. They take insult to another level.

I try to stick to subjects that allow me to encourage and inspire others. That's why I talk about relationships and answer questions. I like to help people.

I need to bring it down. Not turn it up. I'm high octane as it is. I'm trying to feed the other side.
It has little to do with Christianity, but rather politics and people that bought into popular secular thought/opinion.
If one were to think about flocks it is one thing to protect your flock from a wolf, another to try and protect a few sheep from a flock of wolves it is much easier to move your few sheep to safer pastures and let the wolves starve.

A cautionary tale - The one time I tried to date a woman who clearly stated on her profile that she wasn't interested in men like me

A long time ago, back in the days when I still did online dating, I saw a lovely lady on a dating site. There was just one problem, she was 5'10", and she stated in her profile that would be suitors must be 6'2'' or more.

Having seen the most common complaints from ladies about online dating experiences, I was well aware that many men were reportedly lying online about their height, by adding 2'' to the height that they really were. Armed with this knowledge I thought, no problem, I may be only 6', but it's a genuine 6', so I'll still be taller than her.

So I sent her a message, telling her that I really was 6', and that I hadn't added 2'' to my online height. Her response was that she couldn't date anyone under 6'2'', or she wouldn't be able to wear high heels.

I didn't ask her why a woman who was already 5'10'' needed high heels. Or point out that even in ballet pumps she already towered over most women and a small proportion of men. Instead, I tried to be helpful, and sent her the URL for a website that showed the height distribution curve for UK men and women. From this URL, it was clearly evident that the 6'2''+ pond she was fishing in was extremely small.

Boom! My response went down like a cup of cold sick! She was not a happy online dater! I didn't get a date with her, and she got fed some unwelcome statistics! The moral of the story is, don't message, don't argue, don't waste time, don't look back, just move on to the next.
Likely even those who are taller she finds something about them she won't like. I've shook my head at times when I see women that are tall with short men and have had a few short women attracted to me that their height was less an issue than their excess baggage but your 5' nothing women make me feel like a skyscraper even with platform shoes on. I think my preference would be in the 5'10 range but few that tall aren't built like amazons weighing over 200 lbs these days and I'm a lightweight.

She looks rather intelligent has an intelligent write-up, however...she had some implicit photos of her conservative ways. For instance, a pic of her shooting an AR at the range, red-white and blue shirt, and so on. I think she mentioned she was Republican in her profile.
That's not a turn-off to me.

I recall one woman saying, "Figured I'd put this out there...I voted for TRUMP, that'll eliminate a lot of prospects!"
That is. My conservative beliefs inform my dislike of Trump. He was a bad candidate, problem is the Democrats gave us worse candidates.
