What is some good christian rap?

Well you might do a search to see what everyone else mentions. This topic has been discussed many times.

That said, The Cross Movement might very well be the best Christian Rap on the market today. The lyrics are amazingly deep. You can not go wrong with the Higher Definition or Holy Culture albums.

Grits is by far the best rap group period. Get their "the art of translation" cd. other good artists are the cross movement and god sonz.

I'm listening to LA Symphony - Disappear Here right now and it's really good. I had one of my troops asking me if it was some hardcore rap that I was listening to. When I told him that it was Christian Rap, it looked like he took a step back (in his head). Didn't mean to scare him, ole well. Christian Rap is so much better than that other stuff. No cussing, tons of praising!!! =)

Grits is pretty good.

Locally there's a group called True Disciples and a guy named Angel that do Christian Rap. There stuff is pretty tight! You can check them out at ForHim Entertainment.

I usually don't like rap. KJ 52 is pretty good though.

Depends on what you like. I prefer the grittier underground sound so I really recommend the new Deepspace5 album, which reminds me of Madvillian or other MF Doom projects. Mars Ill is pretty fine also.

Man I like Pidgeon John and Subcultre Deviants, Fresh IE is pretty good too, I don't know why I don't own any of his Cds yet.

Why is it that if a person is Christian they can no longer have a drive to rap because they have a passion for that and praising God?

From that post..it made me think "Well..if we're christian...we can only PLAY Christian contemporary or else we are just trying to be hip"

The people in LA Symphony have a great love for music..and understand that it's a gift from God. Like most Christian artists.

I heard some of T-bone, but I found it to be fairly worldly, in that he talks about all the gang banging stuff.
