Christian Metal.

So i just found out that there is GREAT christian rap which is what i listen to primarily and it got me thinking if there is any christian metal that i may like. If i give you guys some secular bands could you guys recommend some christian bands i may like. Before i re focused my life on Christ i liked Old Metalica like and justice for all and master of puppets and ride the lightning. I loved Ozzy and especially Black Sabbath. I also liked Deep Purple, motorhead ect.. I did not ever get into speed metal or any of that stuff that was screaming thrash type stuff. Thank you in advance.

The closest thing I can suggest would be Stryper.... They were pretty big in the '80's. Don't know if you know them or not. They've got some pretty good songs, particularly Soldiers Under Command.... one of my favorites. They do have some ballad type songs, which I think are ok, but not necessarily "metal".

Apart from them, I haven't really found any Christian heavy metal besides the hardcore/metalcore. But Metallica is one of my favorite bands ever, so I know what you mean. Master Of Puppets owns. Just saying. I would just search for bands online. You're sure to find some....

Well, most of it is metalcore, thrash, or death metal. There's some good 80's metal though, like Barren Cross and Bride.
