I try not to have preconceived notions and generalizations about people based on politics, sex, race, income...
I've met some R's I like and some I don't.
There have been some supporting war and some opposed.
Generalizations and judgement based on them suck.
I base my views on the behavior I witness.
People can say anything.
But behavior tells.
And if someone witesses different behavior or disagrees?
Anyhow, what lead you to believe the person you quoted wanted to loose their cholden to war and loved tv and drank 6 packs?
What led you to think those things?
I remember when George W. was president and a lot of young people died searching for "weapons of mass destruction."
I remember a large group of these young people were from Ohio, which voted for Bush.
When the young Ohioans died, their families were shocked, like they didn't know that supporting war might get their young people killed.
Why?
Why didn't they know that war could kill their children?
Why didn't they keep their children home?
What did they want so badly that they sent their children far from home to die?
Beer?
Your post. #92.
Why do you think/assume/judge those things about the person you quoted?
Ever heard the quote...
"Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent"?
It's also the refuge of the impotent.
That's what Republicans are.
So you didn't like the peace and prosperity of the Obama years?
Or do you want your own children to go to war...so that you can have your personal comforts...your TV sets and six packs?
I base my views on the behavior I witness.
People can say anything.
But behavior tells.
In regard to the question that is the title of the thread, "Christian, have you repented for voting for Trump, yet?" I have not repented for voting for Trump. This is because I did not vote for Trump. For that matter, I didn't vote for Clinton either. I'm a Canadian.
