No no no WarEagle, if they repeat it enough it's true. Just like how homosexuals are born that way. It doesn't matter what science says.
I know. It's just fun messing with them and watching them hang themselves.

Canada: Population 33,000,000. Same-sex marriage legalized over five years ago. 75% of the population in favour. No fire and brimstone yet.
And how big do you think Sodom was? Denmark has a population of 5.5 million. The largest city in the ancient world was Rome, which peaked at 100,000. If you're going to argue that scale and population matter when attracting the dubious wrath of a deity who's been AWOL for quite some time, then it might be worth considering the facts.

Its even more rich than you might think at first glance. Not only did the "Christian" hate group's own natural allies (hillbillies) turn their backs on them they said that to attempt to pass such an ordinance would be "unquestionably unconstitutional". Which of course it would be.
So you have a supposedly "Christian" activist group suborning sedition and a bunch of back-water County Supervisors actually have to teach THEM a lesson on the law. ROFL!
It's so ironic that the people claim to be hateless are often the biggest purveyors of hatred themselves. I wonder what this group has to do with you? Did they call you names? Steal your car? Burn down your house? None of the above, but you still vent your hatred for them and narrow mindedness toward their values here on this board.
Sodom and Gommorah were areas within a region. Rome eventually fell(and it was more than 100,000). God would not destory a whole continent like Canada because the population is scattered. It would be a much more concentrated area. One that is known among the world for indecency and that actually takes pride in it, like California or New York. And we can already see whats happening to those 2 states. Massive pollution, crime, rape, disease, high AIDS rates, murder, feminism, abortion, divorce, drought, fire. Dosen't take a genuis to see that its a ticking bomb.
Lot tried to convince his neighbors to rape his little girls.
Who in turn, got him drunk and slept with him to continue their line. And he was the BEST person in Sodom and Gomorrah?
As a side note, I'm pretty sure ancient Rome had over a million people.
Well, yeah, that's pretty much what John 3 says some people will do.
On the other hand, there are a lot of atheists who have been born again as a result of reading the Bible.
Pretty San Francisco morality. Also, Lot's daughters thought they had to carry on the family line. Shows you how corrupted Sodomites can get you. Moabites were detested peoples by the Israelites. Buttttttttttt, Ruth was a Moabite. Shows you how a heart turned to God can be made pure. Ruth is a grandmother of Jesus. Ahhh, now all those wierd stories are making some sense.
As a side note, Roman culture was like what present day liberals and progressives desire in a society. Approving of gay sex and all. Christians were rejected by the majority Roman populace for their stance on morality. Until things went from bad to worse, then Christian morality seemed very good indeed. Then things went from good to bad.
Sound familiar?
Thank you for pointing out this factRome didn't fall till long after it embraced Christianity, and was approving of gay relationships until then. Funny how "god" never got around to punishing them several hundred years while they built up their empire, and only punished them after they became christians.

I know. You think that's something, you ought to see what Jesus did with the Pharisees!
Good ol' Bible based Christian morality. You know it's ok to do stuff...like supporting slavery, beating slaves, supporting putting to death adulterers, homosexuals, people who work on Sundays, blasphemers, supporting ethnic cleansing, genocide, selling children into slavery, sanctioning the rape of female captives from a foreign war, execution of prisoners, the sacrifice of children for God's help in battle or to end famine, executing kids who curse their parents.
I guess it's a good thing for Canada that we're now under the New Covenant and God no longer punishes entire nations like He did under the Old Covenant.
