I just wanted to let anyone who doesn't know, that there are a group of small companies trying to get a foothold in the industry. Mines is one of them. For about 4 years I've tried to get 3rd Day Studios up and going. Actually we released our 1st game back in 2004 (Captain Saint), but due to it being our first game, and not having much experience at the time, It did not do to well.
Over the past 4 years we have worked with numerous development companies (Christian, and secular alike) And we are to the point now where we once again are attempting to bring out some noteworthy, and honorable games, animated movie shorts, and music that will bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. Our first project is a fantasy based RPG game (Seekers: Quest of Caus') to release on the PC. If you like CS. Lewis' style of story telling then this game might be of interest to you.
The Light... the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The Light of the world is the very thing that gives it color, flavor, and life, but for some reason this Light is not welcomed into this world by many of it's inhabitants. Instead they hide from the Light and pretend that it doesn't exist. They do this because they love darkness instead. It's easy to hide their faults and sins in the darkness because they can't see them as they are. They don't want the Light to shine on them to expose them for what they really are... those hidden things look good in the dark because where there is no light, there is no color, no truth, no sight, no life. Instead there is only twisted joy and vain imagination.
Once a highly respected child prodigy of scholar's renown... I am now a loner... born of darkness. They say that there is no hope for our kind. We are born, we live a life of scorn and outcast by the majority, then eventually, we are sent over ... to the place of no return. But I, will not so easily accept such a foolish.. and wasteful life. There is more to this... life... more to this acceptance of darkness and degenerate moral temperance that we call life... there has to be. I am Surcher... and this... is my story.
