  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

we were having a conversation on christian music or wordly music on my blog site called pryzeraci and one of the readers said this "Its based on your convictions and if curtain songs put you in bondage there is no need to listen to it..
We are free in christ so if music or movies put you in bondage there is no need to listen to or watch it...Its more of casting down every IMAGINATION that exalts its self above the knowledge of christ.." which I think is true while others say it is a flat out sin, what about yall:liturgy:

I think there is freedom to be found in Jesus, but even so, not all of us are able to experience it.. It a matter of loving God with all of our Minds, Hearts, and strength.. To some our minds, or hearts won't allow the same freedoms as other brothers may experience. To the weaker brother he is living the limit of what his faith will allow where he is, and to push him further would be a sin.. But We who are free in Jesus experence no sin in restricting our behavior for the benefit of the weaker brother..

Now whether this principle be to the consumption of meat offered to Idols as Paul was addressing in 1Co. 8, to the Romans in chapter 14, Or in todays standard of music. We are to be mindful of those of us who do not yet understand Jesus as you do. And we are called not to educate or force understanding on the weak, but to be patient with them.. For like you their teacher is the Holy Spirit, and he will reveal to them what they can process when they are ready to except it.

In Ro.14 Paul explains alot on how our strength in the lord should not be used to squash the weaker in the faith..
