I was raised in an evangelical Christian home where we 'packed a pew' on church cleaning night. My dad was a deacon, my mom taught Sunday School and I was not allowed to live in their house and miss a service. We went to every midnight watch-night and sunrise service at our church.
Since, 2014 I have said often, I never celebrated the Resurrection until becoming Orthodox. Everything in my past pales in comparison.
I can completely relate!I was raised in an evangelical Christian home where we 'packed a pew' on church cleaning night. Protestant and Catholic Easter is like a 2-minute song from Foreigner. Pascha is like a 22-minute jaw-dropping Yes song.
Yo, yo, none of this “coexist” stuff!!Truly indeed He is risen!
I must be too tired...not following.Yo, yo, none of this “coexist” stuff!!

Coexist? In relation to Indeed He is risen?
My sister in law sent me a video of my 3 year old nephew saying “Christ He is risen!” and “‘Deed he is risen!”. After prompting him with Christos Voskrese he says “foo sa wassa!” lol. He was told “Voistinu Voskrese” and he responds “oh that’s really hard to say!”speaking of the wrong greeting, I remember once I responded with, "Alithos Viskrese!"
