CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If you do the Will of God, you will not find rest in this world. And I don't mean you are restless in your plush 5-bedroom house or some people saying not-so-nice things about you for going to church every Sundays. Or you think it's sacrifice enough to give 10% of your income to church and a bit more to charity. To not enjoy colorful jokes and to not have more than one girlfriend.
There's a lot more at stake at doing the Will of God! You might not only miss that promotion, you might lose your job! You will very likely lose the love of your wife, your children, even your parents to the point of separation! You will lose most of your friends. You will be called evil by many. If laws are a little lose at your end, death may be inevitable.
