There are two sides facing each other across a field (battle field).

On one side are Christians who believe that gay proliferation and the gay lifestyle is a sinful objectively immoral evil. These men fly a white flag with a red cross in the center to represent the love and sacrafice of Jesus Christ. Preparing to battle their opponents, they are huddled in small groups in prayer and worship of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Christians are opposing their adversaries in the belief they are defending Christianity.

On the other side of the field are atheist homosexuals that do not believe in God and scoff the Bible and scorn religion. These men fly a pink flag with a rainbow in the middle of it. These men face the Christians across the field, making lewd and obscene gestures. Some of them are making out in public, etc. etc. The gays are opposing their adversaries in the belief they are defending gay rights.

In this pole you have one of two options:

Fight for the Christians who are opposed to the gay lifestyle and believe they are defending Christianity.

Fight for the homosexuals who are opposed to the Christians and believe they are fighting for gay rights.

atheist homosexuals that do not believe in God

I’m on the side of Christians who are fighting bigotry … guess that means the side with the pink flag

If that is your definition of Christians who are fighting bigotry = atheist homosexuals that do not believe in God

Somehow, that does not surprise me.

We are all sinners. How many who are opposed to gay rights are repeated adulterers? Remember that Christ said in Matthew 5:28 that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already commited adultery with her.

On the other side of the field are atheist homosexuals that do not believe in God and scoff the Bible and scorn religion.

I do not support anyone who mocks the beliefs of others. But it would be foolish to believe that all gays are athiests that hate religion.

I fight for neither of the sides that have been described.
I fight for God, and God is Love, not condemnation.

first of all, I did not say that all homosexuals are atheists, that is a stretch on your part. I gave a scenario in which there was an army of atheist homsexuals and an army of Christians who believe that the gay lifestyles is sinful.

We are all sinners. How many who are opposed to gay rights are repeated adulterers?

Once again, I will repeat myself.

The main defense of the homosexual offenders here is to compare their sin to the sin of others. Why is it, whenever one engages in immoral activity, that their best and most common defense is to place it on a scale of relativity and state, "You sin too." ?

That is really no excuse now is it ?

In revelations chapter 2, Jesus praised the Church of Ephesus for not tolerating wicked men and here we see Paul’s urging:

As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain men not to teach false doctrines any longer (1 Tim 1-3)

Here we see that Jesus and the Apostles required it of Christians to discern and judge the lifestyles of others. Jesus told his followers not to give unto dogs that what is holy and Paul tells us not to associate with anyone who calls himself a brother but who is sexually immoral.

We can judge others on the basis of using the Word of God. It is called discernment when we judge the actions of others negatively when the Bible itself calls that action a sin.

Advocating the gay lifestyle. Spreading the view that living the lifestyle is normal. Hope that helps.
I'm on the side of Christians who are fighting against prejudice and bias against homosexual people. but I'm also on the side of Christians who are fighting against the devaluing of marriage through same-sex marriage, fornication, adultery, and divorce.

Your first “army” is hardly Christian … Christians do not fight to oppress others and they especially do not do so in the name of God. Nor do real Christians misrepresent others even when desperate to make a point.

Meanwhile the second “army” fights for equality and acceptance of all people…exemplifying the teachings of Jesus and of Christianity.

I am curious pjw. How does the marriage of anyone else devalue your marriage or any one else’s marriage for that matter?

So, atheist homosexuals that do not believe in God and scoff the Bible and scorn religion are more worthy than Christians huddled in small groups in prayer that worship the Lord Jesus Christ ?

If that is side you wish to fight for, so be it.
