• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

^ @Jeshu love this concept! Reminds me of taking life on life's terms, and dealing with it, as it is. We can only do the best we can, and then acknowledge that we are powerless over other stuff that we cannot control. Once we accept life on life's terms, we stop screaming and kicking and fighting what is. It is what it is.
Lets dance whatever life throws at us!

That's the right spirit sis. Life is a gift from God but when we keep looking at the gift as a curse then life will indeed curse us but if we rule life in both good and bad then we are more than kings and conquers can ever be, and we can truly celebrate life every day again even through our tears. It is what we gain living life that matters, not those white foaming waters rushing underneath life's bridges we meet along the way.

Amen! We are more than conquerors, in Christ.

(goosebumps!)

Romans 8:31-37

If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[a]
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.:yellowheart:
