Dark Victory was so sad.
Bette Davis was so good in that. But she was good in everything.
I'm a bit down right now, and as a result, I've not been online much. I had a very, very, very close friend who seemed to start to pull away about 6 months ago.

Not long ago I sent for a very old B/W film starring Bette Davis and Charles Boyer. It is based upon a once very popular book (in the 40's...long before most of us were even reading books or maybe even born... called All This and Heaven Too. The book is better than the film because the author, Rachel Field, was so good. (also wrote Time Out of Mind and And Now Tomorrow.)

Blessings!
