Nice pic
We also had drizzle today, so I gor my errands done after our walk early this AM.
After lunch I did chores and settled into prayer time, and did my exercises.
It was a good day ~ I am tired now
Dave had a good idea on the netting; we just throw ours over the bushes (when used) because they are so scattered over the property.
I hope you had a lovely time to relax Connie
Be blessed everyone
Have a lovely evening with your Mom, Tom.... and have a nice weekend everyoneWe're taking my 91 year old mother out to eat this evening. She talks a mile a minute and we're looking forward to a good time.
It's Friday and the work day will soon be over. Everyone have a great weekend.

Glad you had a good day Shirley
We went out for dinner tonight ( a hubby surprise); it was delish
I have been fatigued the past few days also, and just plain BLAH emotionally :o must be the dark damp days we have had.
Hubby has a 3 day weekend (there is a break in the project he is on), so that will be nice, seeing I will be gone Sunday afternoon to the bridal shower.
Blessings to all
O yum....we love eating out, but i think I must make some diet changes to really lose a few pounds. I will get weighed at the dr's on monday...that always helps me get serious about my weight.
I loved our damp days here...we have mostly, bright blue skies and dry heat, so a change is great. But I still have the blahs...have had them for a while too...am really spending more time in the word and prayer tho...I have been very unfocused there.
I think at night, we go from being too hot to too cold...a typical problem in the Spring.
Eating out kills me with the sodium, but it is a nice change from my usual bland dietThis is a part of the beach and pier area at Santa Barbara...photo from last year.

The Lord has been drawing me closer in His word and prayer the past couple weeks as well; this week I felt the need to be very quiet
Beautiful pic and area
Good night
The lightening and thunder and wind woke me up a little bit ago. That and three scared little chihuahuas trying to get under my covers! I went out onto the porch because I knew my outside cat, Belay would be wanting in as she is not a fan of storms. My bird, Seabee who usually hangs on the porch, had to be moved over to a covered area of the porch, and he was ever grateful, cooing softly his appreciation.
The temperature cooled down almost 20 degrees since I went to sleep a few hours ago so I sat out on the porch and watched the Lord's handiwork with the lightening, which was beautiful and enjoyed the very cool winds and the smell of rain coming.
When I came inside I turned the air conditioning off and opened most of the windows. I love the sounds and the smells right now.
God is good and comforting, some times in strange ways.
Good thing I don't have to work tomorrow. I am not the least bit tired or sleepy right now. I hope everyone is having a peaceful sleep or is being comforted in some way.
And that's my chit chat!
Emily is my precious little one. I love them all, all of my animals. I have 4 large rescue dogs in the back yard (Ace, Princess, Bella, and Rosie), two of the chihuahuas belong to a friend (Koby and Lady Bird) and are only here for a couple more months, one of the chihuahuas is my three legged little girl Scooter (but don't try to tell her she only has three legs, she thinks and runs like she has twenty), two cats, one inside (Wednesday) and one outside (Belay), an Indian Ringneck Lymon parakeet that is the size of a small parrot (Seabee) and assorted fish. I had several guinea pigs but they passed away from old age earlier last fall. I also had a rabbit, Ruby, that went the way of the guinea pigs. Her burial site was turned into a garden called the Ruby project. Many strange and unidentified plants have come up from her grave. I often wonder "What all did that rabbit eat?!"
I love animals.
