Hi everyone...I have walked with Gracie today...we rested yesterday... Things are quieting down here, after the remodel; I will be looking at paint colors to paint our front door...that job is long overdue.

Highlights from reading He 10 NKJ:

What our Great High Priest has accomplished for us...by fulfilling God's will...

7Then I said, Behold, here I am, coming to do Your will, O God--[to fulfill] what is written of Me in the volume of the Book.

8When He said just before, You have neither desired, nor have You taken delight in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings--all of which are offered according to the Law--

9He then went on to say, Behold, [here] I am, coming to do Your will. Thus He does away with and annuls the first (former) order [as a means of expiating sin] so that He might inaugurate and establish the second (latter) order.

10And in accordance with this will [of God], we have been made holy (consecrated and sanctified) through the offering made once for all of the body of Jesus Christ (the Anointed One).

11Furthermore, every [human] priest stands [at his altar of service] ministering daily, offering the same sacrifices over and over again, which never are able to strip [from every side of us] the sins [that envelop us] and take them away--
12Whereas this One [Christ], after He had offered a single sacrifice for our sins [that shall avail] for all time, sat down at the right hand of God,

Getting this down in my spirit...my sins are FORGIVEN: How do I know? There is no longer any sacrifice for sins...it is finished.

17He then goes on to say, And their sins and their lawbreaking I will remember no more.

18Now where there is absolute remission (forgiveness and cancellation of the penalty) of these [sins and lawbreaking], there is no longer any offering made to atone for sin.

Thank You Lord, for Your salvation!!!!!

God is amazing, He took our punishment Himself, suffered in our place to atone for our sin...it just amazes me, I think of it often.

It has been a busy and productive week so far, with cleaning, errands, and Easter preps

We had neat treat yesterday.....the night before we heard BLACK BEAR CUB CRIES on our property (the woods next to our home).
Then when I was walking today, I saw bear scat on the road around the corner by a stream ;she had been dining on corn and black oil sunflower seeds from someones feeder it seems

So the watch is on at dusk and dawn now, as she has passed right by our back door many times over the years.

Such things excite me; the Lord's creation is so awesome!

Have a nice evening; I am off to write my bills

Yes that is a great gift and we hardly ever think about it we just take it for granted.

I just got done being off for two days from my walgreens job. Spent the two days putting out fires with Avon. I feel very good about it actually.. The house is a mess the laundry isn't done.. my dishes are half done but, the avon thing is rewarding. my boss changes my direction often which is sometimes difficult. I spent two evenings working on something and then she called and told me to change my direction. That was a bit frustrating. However.. there were communication issues within the district.. things are changing rapidly and people were getting angry because they don't know what was going on. I'm now using facebook as a business tool. I check on my child and I manage my Avon ladies with it. I have 50 new facebook friends --- all Avon ladies and all will be much happier now that they can feel more connected with what is going on. Only 465 more avon ladies to please lol

black bear cubs sound fun.

They are cute, but their mommas are very protective.
We carry bear spray and make noise when we walk in the woods...just in case.

They usually try to avoid us, and most of our sightings have been a quick pass through the yard at dusk, when you can just see them.
We had to stop feeding the birds because they demolished our poles and feeders (and it attracts the wild turkeys who make more mess in the yard than my dog)
A bear went through a neighbors screen slider in their home one summer, so we also must close the windows when we go out, especially after cooking.

Great to see, but they must be respected for sure!

UM? - I'm a city boy and I wouldn't be thinking about paying bills. I would be thinking about being eaten by a bear.

That's my hubby He was pacing the house, nervously watching for the bear like a hawk!
Every time someone's car slowed or stopped he was looking to see if they stopped for the bear!

I on the other hand was HOPING to see it; respectful, always alert, but excited.
I am the nature lover in the house; always exploring and studying every little (and BIG) thing that moves

The first time the bear came through the yard, he ran around the house closing and locking doors and windows...ready to get his gun

I was IN the window, with an air horn in one hand (to scare it if it came too close) ....camera in the other (but it was getting too dark for a pic)

If I were in such a location, I would install a 500watt floodlight, to cover the yard
and turn it on from indoors ... You could then for sure, get a good pic
and scare it off into the bargain

We have that, but they are very elusive....and at the hint of any human action, lights on etc they head for the hills.

Funny story ~
A few years ago, my sis died suddenly in her sleep from an aneurysm at age 49
Anyway....I took off that October morning in a hurry to be with my family, and I forgot to turn the outside lights on for when hubby or I got home that evening.
He got home first, and when I came around the bend to the house (surrounded by woods, no street lights) the house and property was LIT UP LIKE A CHRISTMAS TREE

When I got in the house, hubby's eyes were big as saucers and I could tell 'something' happened.

When he got home it was PITCH BLACK on the road, in the house, in the yard....he got out of his truck to get the mail with just headlights on (the mail boxes are on the road), when a neighbor who was driving just ahead of him,stopped and backed up to talk to him.

He wanted to tell hubby that a BEAR HAD JUST WANDERED UP OUR DRIVEWAY TO THE HOUSE (I would have loved to see his face when he heard that )

So hubby drove up the drive with HIGH BEAMS ON, HONKING THE HORN, YELLING 'YO BEAR' until he got in the house, where he turned on EVERY LIGHT WE HAD...INSIDE AND OUT

Of course the bear was long gone before he even got to the house, but he kept watch (like a loving hubby ) until I got home.

*we had already had a sighting just yards from our back door, so he KNEW the guy wasn't kidding, and knew the size of the bear (impressive 300# +).

We still laugh and tell that tale....

And we have had many close encounters with 1500 pound moose too...at our door, right behind us as we BBQ'd outside (he flew in the house that time ROFLOL),and while in the woods hiking.
They are also dusk/dawn travelers and hard to get on film here...

Ok, I am rambling ....I LOVE wildlife adventures...can you tell?!

I almost wept at that story... What a guy \o/

I was reminded of the afternoon
that three of our lads came running in from the back garden

"Dad, Dad, there is a snake in the back garden"

With the wife, calling-in the dogs from the back yard
I searched the grass where they were pointing toward [carefully]
because, we do have a venomous snake in our country [Adder, family: viper]
and, it could also be, an escaped exotic [pet]

Instead, I found a harmless Slow Worm, [legless lizard] phewwww!!!
But hey ho... and away we go ...
with concrete walling 6 feet to 10 feet high around the garden
it wasn't impossible, to have had a 'snake' inside

We need to make a family visit shortly
