It is wonderful that we are able to relate as Christians and not be divided by denominations in GE 50+

Amen! We can be one in Jesus Christ and not let the labels, tags, and denominations cause division among us. We can also all pray for each other and know that God loves to hear our prayers.

Speaking of prayer, those with injury, illness, and other needs will be in my prayers. May God get all of the Glory, and may we seek His perfect will for each one of us. In the meantime, we can KEEP LOOKING UP and give thanks for all of the good things God has provided for us.

I highly value you as a friend and fellow believer,
if we talked theology...we would have a lot of differences...
when we keep things centered in Christ, fellowship flows better.

My point with Dave was this...
the hypercalvinists will get pretty passive in their walk with the Lord,
chalking everything up to His sovereign will in all things being done,
no matter what we do...so why pray?
I don't know if he means that, but it reminded me of that stream of Calvinism.
I was not talking about the Catholic church and its theology.
There are plenty of Protestants who don't go with Calvinism either
and I find fellowship can exist with them as well...
as long as we don't get too deeply into theology.

One of my favorite teachers
tells of his having a warm friendship with a Jew...
knowing that they both believe something very different about who Jesus is...
the doctrines we hold...do matter...
my thing is, I am new to having "doctrine" and it is big in my life...
yet if I have not love, it doesn't bear much fruit does it.

I didn't 'pick up a club' and intend... to go catholic-bashing
but, was trying to get a meaningful grip on "Reformists & Calvinists"
[considering 'myself' as belonging to God and not a man-made church of any denomination (underline)]
and simply magnified some of those reforms/changes I had found
I did ask to be refocussed had I strayed in those understandings

I do pray and raise Him: for my blessings
iow: do not see it as not-necessary to pray

therefore, how can I pray for MORE for me
~when such a thing may not be His will for me, and maybe even be contrary, to His will
and place me, in the situation of being 'disatisfied' with His many blessings to me

That is a great 'light' to be blessed with....

I had, gone as far as I could without-Him...
raise: I will never walk without-Him again

My 'FAMILY' has grown/increased exponentially
since that night... [?]
Mary's family [and extended family] have adopted me
as DAD, UNCLE DAVE, GRANDDAD

Where, I had been ALONE [while] surrounded by own children

My Christian Family ? continues to grow too [even, in Facebook]
\o/\o/\o/
He has molded me, throughout my life < I am the sum of those experiences
and EVERYONE I have ever met
I have, NEVER... felt better... more whole... more at-peace with, my days

To Him goes my praise

I have had a few Jewish friends and all have been extremely respectful of my beliefs so I reciprocate. I cannot understand really how the church got itself locked into Jew Hatred. Even Martin Luther erred in this regard. I agree with angelwind if we don't have love for one another and even our enemies we are not following Christ's teaching and example. However, this is only possible by the power of the Holy Spirit. Once my spirit became enlightened to the power of God's Holy presence in my life through the Holy Spirit, my relationship became a living thing. PTL

By 'not here w/ us' can also mean: up to 3000 miles away etc. sooo sad

But the candle reminds me of my experience with GOD at age 5 very Comforting

and then gave me a run-down/ inventory of received presents

Her Mother is taking her to see a film in 3D
I forget the title ... but it is something to do with dancing penguins
