That too...I forgot to mention it very expressive!

Yes she sports a 'pink hoodie' in the winter, otherwise she collects 'snowballs' on her belly fur,
which are a bear to remove (her legs are bad enough but do-able with a comb)!
You can see the snow on her face...she romps in and out of the snowbanks

We had snow here for a few hours this pasr April...it is not the norm for us...but Gracie went nuts playing in it...her fur stayed pretty dry and did not seem to pick up much snow...don't know how it would be in days of snow on the ground, but she does have sled dog breeding in her line...all Poms do...so they have fur suitable for being in lots of snow.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We had a nice Thanksgiving dinner at my mother's home. The meal was prepared from a restaurant; it was very good. My mother is planning to move soon, and did not have the time to cook a dinner this year. My brother, sister-in-law, and two nephews were there also. We had a nice time.
I brought two pies for dessert, and my sister-in-law brought a cake.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We had a nice Thanksgiving dinner at my mother's home. The meal was prepared from a restaurant; it was very good. My mother is planning to move soon, and did not have the time to cook a dinner this year. My brother, sister-in-law, and two nephews were there also. We had a nice time.
I brought two pies for dessert, and my sister-in-law brought a cake.

We bought pies from a restaurant we like...they would prepare a whole meal too...different from our younger days for sure, but the pies were very good. It is the people who are so important to me...even the ones now gone.

The only hair that comes off even in brushing if if she has a mat.
Now my English Springer Spaniel.......I picked up her hair for a YEAR after she passed

Our Doberman shed something terrible...I cleaned up his hair for 6 months after he died. My cockers did not shed much, but then I groomed them myself and often...their "hair" would have grown "down the side walk" if not trimmed.

I comb and moisturize Gracies coat every 2 days...does not take long.

We have Penny groomed every 5 weeks....she hates baths and refuses to stand for the groomer; I guess it is exhausting work to do her
She isn't nasty, she just screams the whole time she is washed and dried and then rolls over onto her back when she wants her to stand
I brush her almost daily, and do spot trims/ cleaning...she stays pretty clean for being so light.
Except if it has rained...oh my what a mess on her belly with wet dirt; she is so close to the ground!
But a quick wipe with a paper towel and brushing and she is all set....easy cleanup

Gracie tolerates combing pretty well till we get to her behinder parts...but I encourgae her a lot...all is done in less than 30 min. No clipping ever except for the nails.

Dogs are so funny....soooo cute.

Penny wuldn't take to a head piece either....and she is too nosey and energetic to sit in a bag

Gracie wants to over eat too Dave...and since I cannot walk her very much I watch her calories, she feels like a little tank at times, but stil she is small 6 maybe 7 pounds...she just looks big because her hair stand out.

Penny is a normal size (@15#), and we do walk daily in good weather.
Winter keeps her in a lot as the roads get very icey here on the lake and is treated some with salt/sand.
She is food driven so we must watch her treats
Can't wait for her pics...that must be cute
