CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Good morning. Well, Benjamin started his new school this morning. So far so good. The principal met them at the door, took his backpack and lunchbag and told Kittystorm that they would take it from there. Ben walked right in. Please keep him in your prayers that things go well for him.

I think that the parents worry more about new schools than the kids do. There's something almost magic about all of those kids getting together and so many new things to do. I remember my daughter's worries about first days in school. In fact, I even remember our worries about first days in school when our kids were little. Regardless, Benjamin will be in my prayers.

I really hope this works out well for Benjamin and that they have a good approach to children with differnet styles of learning. I would love to meet him he sounds like a great boy. Jan

Benjamin had a wonderful day. He got smiley faces for all his jobs. He loved going swimming. The teacher said he followed directions and had no meltdowns. I pray this is the start of a great experience for him.

Yes, I should try to lay back down too and hopefully I can get a little sleep tonight. I hope you don't have to work in the morning. I pray the both of us can survive tomorrow, it's terrible when you don't get enough sleep.
