Hi everyone. Thanks for the prayers for my Mom. We still haven't made any arrangement for the memorial service. I'm waiting to hear from my brother in Dallas to see when he will be able to get a flight here. Weather is causing lots of problems. We got 22" of snow and -7f temp (windchill is -20 or more)

Hi everyone. Glad to have a chance to stop by tonight. We are getting everything ready to go to the church tomorrow for my Mom's memorial service.

I went to amemorial service today for the daughter on church friends from a few years back. I knew her as an 11 yr old. She was 23 and a lovely girl. I hope you find comfort in the company of friends and family as you honor your MOM. Love Jan

Thanks Jan. We have been looking at some old photos and scrapebooks Mom did. and we went out for dinner with my brother. We had lobstertail and we remembered Mom having to bring the tail home and spraying it with varnish so she could put it on her shelf. She thought the tail was so pretty.

We did something similar when my hubby's dad died. He was a believer but not a church goer and new to our area having moved around the world as an engineer. We had a lovely time. Hope you found it comforting.
