Just got back from a trip down south to Phoenix area. It was interesting but glad to be back home. we are hoping to have a place there to go when it gets cold here. Had nice visits with my nephews.

Things are looking up, and so am I! Linda is getting better, and is receiving excellent care. When I came home from the hospital last night, I had one message to schedule a second interview for a very good job; and another from a temp agency, that has work in May. So, one way or another, I'll be working again soon!

Are you guys familiar with the Dove Awards? (kind of the academy awards or grammys but for contemporary Christian music) Looks like we may be going next week. They are held in Nashville, Tennessee. The deal is that one of our friends from church, Jennie Riddle has a song which has been nominated for 2 Dove awards. The song is "Revelation Song." Some of ya'll may have heard it if you listen to Christian music at all. Also, some churches sing it in their worship service. Phillips, Craig & Dean recorded it this year and it went to # 1 nationally in Christian music. Anyhow, some people who know Jennie are planning to go up with her to Nashville next week and we are trying to be part of that group. I'm excited and hope the trip works out!

Thanks! I wonder if I'm crazy planning to make that long car trip having had as much back trouble as I've had lately:o...but I want to go and I feel like actually that the leading of the Lord is to go ahead and go for it.

We have both arranged to be on vacation next week. So we're planning to do it! We haven't had a lot of opportunity to travel much together and I hope this will be a good trip for us. I couldn't get the link idea to work.

If you want to hear the song our friend wrote, just go to www.youtube.com and search "Revelation Song" Kari Jobe did it first and then Phillips, Craig and Dean. It's REALLY a beautiful song and I think it deserves to win. I prefer the Kari Jobe version, but it was really the Phillips, Craig and Dean version which brought recognition to the song mostly.
