CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Good evening. Just got back from our autism parent meeting. Lot's of parents with issues with their kids school districts. I hope when it's Benjamin's turn for things, Kitty will have her support to help her fight for services for Benjamin.

Thank the Lord there are parents out there that pay attention.
I hope everyone's snow is gone or going. It's warmed up here to what is normal and I hope it stays that way.

And another weekend is here. Linda's recovery continues, but we are so thankful she is home. We have a children's service at church tomorrow. So, this will be an excellent weekend for us.

Hello Michael,
It makes me very happy to hear this good news. We're in the middle of a small winter storm here, but we've had a great week to remember. We even got to see our grandchildren a couple of times over the last couple of days during a surprise visit, so we can deal with some winter weather.
I'll be praying for Linda's complete recovery, and I do hope you have a great weekend.

Hello Brother Michael,
You and Linda are still in my prayers.
As for me, I'm having a good week. I've been very busy with my Christian volunteer work, and everything is going much better than I deserve. The weather here has been beautiful the last several days, and my wife and I are thinking about going fishing. Both of us enjoy fishing simply to relax, and we usually throw what we catch back. We like to fish from the bank in our lawn chairs with corks on our lines to tell us when they're biting. It's hard work - but someone has to do it.
