maybe YOU will wish for cooler air, but not me. august is my favorite month. i love when it's between 85-90 degrees out. love baking in the sun. actually, my body temp is ONE degree below normal, and i think that's why i'm cold every season but summer, and i can take the heat when others can't tolerate it. really shoulda been born in arizona!

today is zero here again. dang...... it was 54 degrees in my bedroom this am when i woke up. gotta keep the rooms upstairs cool so we don't get water in the house from all the snow/ice.... or so husband says. when i go to bed, i look more like i'm going cross country skiing than bed...gotta get all dressed in layers.

yea...arizona..... here i come!

Did someone say spring! To me it's the best time of the year, everything feels fresh and new and the temperature is normally just right for me but before then we must get through the rest of winter!

However, I have to admit I do have my favorites too and when we're running 100+ in August, I do wish for Fall! We do get cold weather here in Texas but compared to you northern guys and gals, it is mild. Summers are beastly hot, however. So I really do relish Fall & Winter.

My favorites are spring and fall. Nothing like the first flowers of spring and the feel of a warm breeze after the winds of winter. And autumn...love autumn. The color of the leaves changing, pumpkins, Thanksgiving! I'm not a fan of winter, especially the weather we've had this year, but I am determined to find the happiness in it. I worry that I wish time away, looking forward to things in the future, eg. vacations, holidays and am making a big effort to find the good in every single day.

and regardless of how the light changes, His will, is in every place
I dont challenge what he shows me, I just try, to-understand
these miracles he makes for me, it is not, a barren land
the blessings they, are many, His mercies are there too
but best of all, I can see it all, in His love for me and you

actually, dave just reminded me that us ohioans look at the snow as a whole. we rarely see (or think of) one single snowflake which is a beautiful creation by God. i think i'm gonna hafta go out in the yard and look for one.
