Good afternoon. What a difference a week makes. Last weekend we had nothing but rain like 6-9" and today we have sunny skies and 82 degrees.

There was, once, a time
when this site would announce member's birthdays

This, is called economics / progress

For all, that have been /are concerned
that they missed passing me greetings and good wishes
Please be-advised, that my 'day' was spectacular FROM START to FINISH
I was so-blessed, with cards and gifts, wonderfully sunny weather ALL DAY
a CARVERY meal 'OUT' with some of Mary's family
Phone calls from Bristol incl' one from my eldest son Shane
whom I hadn't heard from
since, before I left Bristol [182 miles south of here]

My Lord, has been most kind and gracious to me

I visted my doctor this-morning
he tells me that my blood pressure "still a bit high"
is now 'down' to 184 over 90
where, several weeks ago, it was 204 over 97
and one week ago it was 197 over 97
My cholesterol level too, has fallen from 5.7 to just 5.00

I have, been feeling rather achey, in the area of a past hernia repair
after walking a'ways [has felt like, it is tearing occasionally]
and lower-back ache
by the time we finish up, 'shopping' at the precinct

But all in all..... I have no-complaints at-all
for, I am blessed to witness all of this, for-myself
I still LIVE to praise the Lord, for every day [rain or, shine]
