CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Nah you were fine so long as you followed the instructions
When...... you have it going 'just-fine' CREATE a RESTORE POINT
name it something like: FRESH START
and when stuff begins to feel DODGY
you can then roll back to those 'just-fine' settings

All this talk of sleep reminds me I should be having my afternoon nap. I am getting sleepy. Yawn. We finally have sun it was very wet most of today its aroun 4:30 pm now. Hoping for a lovely LONG WEEKEND Ms D (I do get my extra day lol)

Oh what a lovely night I have had with my Mary at the pyjama party
such fun and laughter I no-longer remember was mine
I am repentant as to my inebriation but they were such fun folks
if life were continually such fun I could have no fear of my futiure
believe it or not I sung karaoke LOL
not the song I requested but another and compliments thereafter
gave me such a warm feelng of apppreciation
I could have sung all night
Lord, I beg forgiveness that alchohol needed to be applied to me
in order that I could become relaxed enough to take part with peace in my heart
and then to bring joy to so many
Lord forgive this sinner who could enjoy this party without thought of thee
Oh what a lovely night I did enjoy

I am glad you had a friendly time. I am sure that with God's help you will make the right decisions in furture about the drinking part of it. There are those that would suggest absolute abstinence and for some that is the way to go. Certainly for my dad that would have been a wonderful choice for his family who were vicitims of his drunken tirades. But that said, did not the Lord Himself turn water to wine and enjoy the company of friends and family at a wedding party. Even Paul admonished Timothy to take a little wine for his stomach. So me thinks the answer is in carefully listening to the leading of the Holy Spirit in all matters and turning quickly to him when we suspect a lapse in judgement. Peace brother. Jan

Hi everyone. I think the heat is getting to much for me. Also walking around and pushing a stroller with Benjamin. My feet and arms are sore.

Missd sorry that you have sore feet that is not fun. My hubby thinks he has planter fasceitis. haveing benjamin around must have bee a job though. Hope you get some heat relief. My hubby would love it to be warmer here. It is sunny but not very warm but I love the sun. Had a great time yesterday out in it. Today I went to church and napped a sunday tradition. LOL Jan

Hi Dave, Grace, Ms D, and kk, sorry to anyone I missed but I only looked on who came up on the first page.
It's in the high 80's here but the humidity has been high so it feels hotter. I guess we all can look forward to the cooler Fall weather soon. I keep thinking of the people on the gulf waiting for the hurricane to come. I feel so bad for them. I pray it will calm down before it reaches them.
