  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Its about 17 degrees celsius now (about 62 degrees farenheit) but the sun is shining weakly through the clouds. It was a lot cooler this morning. I changed into jeans tshirt and windbreaker. It is supposed to go down to 12 C (53.6 F) and rain overnight. Too soon to be so chilly. It hasn't been the hottest summer we have experiences anyway. Jan

15 -16 degrees MAX here
Overcast, the odd cold droplet on the face occasionally

Forecast for tomorrow:

Rain, clearing during the later morning...
temps then rising to @ 21 degrees [in our area

Thank you Dave for the extra information, I will do that too.

The weather here in NC is mild, high 80's with a short shower everyday.

Grace, it sounds like you really enjoyed your company this summer. How nice that you have the opportunity to do this.

Yes it was lovely but it will be nice not to have to make breakfasts every am for awhile. lol. It is raining here cold and only a promise of 17 again for a high temp. We all laugh at the weather as it is our Pacific National Exhibition now and traditionally the weather is really lousy during it. Jan

Yes, making breakfast every morning would get tiresome. I'm not a morning person and breakfast for me is usually cold cereal unless my husband cooks.
It is pouring down rain here and I just love it!

Thats great I know you need the rain. I was driving back over the main bridge to North Vancouver yesterday after taking my niece to the airport. I couldn't get over how deserted out city looks due to all the greenery. It is just one big forest but actually not as many thousands of people live here. The water does that. :) Jan

LOL did you maybe suspect that it mightn't be Sis' ?

:D:D:D:D:D

Nah you were fine so long as you followed the instructions

When...... you have it going 'just-fine' CREATE a RESTORE POINT
name it something like: FRESH START

and when stuff begins to feel DODGY
you can then roll back to those 'just-fine' settings

Yes for the 3 hours I had. My brother came from TX yesterday and is leaving for MN today, so we didn't get too much sleep.

Typically, 5 - 6 hours of, rest [eyes-closed] is generally enough for me

I used-to sleep longer....
but, I seem to need to get more INTO a day as I get older
THAT, or, I need more time to do it all in :D
