Glad to see you are all still here.

I have been away a few days. My guests arrived on Tuesday am. I had mistaken the date so was waiting in vain on Monday. I was pretty upset for awhile but when I checked back I realized that I hung on to the first tentative date but that it was later changed in a subsequent email. All worked out in the end and we had a nice day and a half together. They are always so busy with stuff relating to their ministry so we spent quite a bit of the time in various banks attempting to wire money back to their home base to cover expenses. I shall see them again when I go on my holiday to Alberta in a week or so. My niece returns tonight and will join her sis who lives with me and head to see their father on Vancouver Island tomorrow. My student also is holidaying on the weekend to Victoria and my hubby may join a friend at his cabin on the Sunshine Coast.
It MAY tun out to be a quiet weekend. (can't go with hubby as I have church responsibilities as well as need to care for disabled son). He isn't really sure he wants to go but he gets invited so often he can't ALWAYS say no. when he gets there they basically putter around fixing stuff up and do have a nice visit. I think sometimes he views it as ministry time as this guys isn't a christian.

Good to "see" you chatting again, Jan. Glad you had a good visit with sis. As I said, I am off the week. Not going anywhere. Husband is taking off with me tomorrow. I have just been "puttering" and enjoying being off Trying to get laundry done etc. I have read one book and about to finish another. I love to read when I'm off! Oh, vacations are toooooo short!

On a less cheery note, I am just a little demoralized that Annie is going to have the thread on Repentance deleted, and while I understand why (somewhat) I put my heart into a few of the posts there. I guess I misunderstood the OP, but think it really would be a great thread topic.

Anyway . . I'm sure looking forward to spending a few precious days with a very dear dear friend, starting tomorrow! It's been so long since we've done this, and always come away so refreshed in the Lord.

I wrote a reply to Annie's COMPLAINTS... re: Repentance Thread

It took me two hours, to address
each of those announced shortcomings [of mine]
I agreed so-many of her points
and underlined much of my replies as RELEVANT
when, seen, in-context...
and I went into depth, to describe these relevancies

I tried to post these ANSWERS
that might have appeased a reasonable person
only to find that the thread no-longer exists
that there is no way to copy for display in a PM
because upon clicking on advanced
so that I could copy from preview screen, I am then required to SIGN IN
and the back-button WILL NOT display UNSAVED TEXT

So, the deleted thread is GONE... 'a waste of time'

Brings to mind a SURVEY in which all the 'wrong' votes are binned
to give a 100 percent VOTE....
in the SURVEYOR'S CHOICE of RESULT

Good evening everyone. Hope your weekend is going just fine.

It started out pouring rain here but at 6 pm the clear blue sky shines out among the fluffy "white" clouds. I spent the day shopping with hubby and Mom in law. I have two of my boarders away for the weekend so less pressure to cook on me so we are keeping it light and easy tonight. Church tomorrow yeah. Last night hubby and I went to a different churches prayer meeting. It was pretty cool. later saw the video THE STAR at my bro in laws cousins place. Anyone familiar with it?
