  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I'm so sorry for your losses. I have just one daughter (KittyStorm) and she has one son Benjamin, and he has PDD/NOS which is like autism. He's 6yrs He's very smart and loveable until he gets something that he can't handle and then he has a melt-down which can be hard to deal with.

I am sorry for the loss of your children dave. My mom lost one baby after surgery at 6 weeks old years before I was born. I have been fortunate that way although I did have two miscarriages at 12 and 14 weeks before my first son was born. Missdancerama I don't know if you remember me telling you but I work with people with PDD, Aspergers Syndrome and Autism as well as other LD issues and developmental delays. It is a great job. My second oldest son has a mild mental handicap and a physcial disablility. His symptoms can be somewhat like Autism at times but he never was given that diagnosis.

I was a twin, I was told, delivered by caesarean section
because my twin had died months before and was preventing my delivery

;)

As for my 'lost' children... they were found and saved were they not ?
Special-children are born to those with so much love to give
and they, were given them
because, they were especially 'equipped'
to provide the special love and devotion that these children thrive on

though there was/ is and will be TIMES, this 'cross' is perceived
there are also so many times
that the BLESSING of God, is and will be recognized

Remember .... nobody else but, the parents
can acknowledge this gift from above

God Bless all of those parents abundantly

Hey playing is good Kaykay the work will still be there when your done but you may feel more energized to tackle it. I am expecting a phone call from my sister and BIL today. They will be coming over on the ferry from Vancouver Island and I have to pick them up at the downtown bus depot when they arrive. I think in a few moments I will hop to the grocery store and pick up some stuff as after they arrive they will need my car for some running around. I only have a blow up mattress for them tonight I hope it is comfortable. My hubby used it last week when he was camping as part of his jobs program with disabled adults and he said it was ok. For one maybe but two??? I hope so. gg

I've slept on inflatable mattresses with varying degrees of success. The nice thing about them is that you can deflate it gradually until it's the bouyancy most comfortable to you. Oh, and I'd hazard a guess that it's more comfortable for two if it's not a TWIN size?! :D

No it is a double and will likely work even so I have set up a twin 5 in thick foamie matress as a single just in case. The twin actually seems pretty fine and may work for both dependng how chummy they like to be. lol. Jan

:D

I gotcha :)

I replied to a post in GE a little earlier
the system told me
that the reply I was trying to post
was a duplicate of one I had already posted [?]
and that if I clicked the button I would be redirected to it

when the page refreshed, I found myself here:

http://christianforums.com/showthread.php?t=7264934

I read the OP

and felt led to reply to it
I am afraid that I had to 'speak my mind'
and also had-to 'speak-bluntly'

whereafter, a respondent sent me a considerable gift of blessings

I  that my comments, will cause serious consideration to be given
to the matters I raised there

THIS SITE is also having problems with REPS again

Reps: 63018065 (power: 63033)

Please be aware
that the LAST ten reps I have given > TOTAL 430
ie: 43 reps per rep-gift and NOT 63033 as is my 'repping power'

I do apologize to recipients whose totals are climbing MUCH more-slowly
than I had intended for them to grow

What, with losing my avatar today also
I guess it will be some-while yet
before these anomolies will be eradicated

And yes, Dave, it definitely threw me to see your avatar changed! I didn't recognize you at first! :D
