against their being shown here

Although, I cannot see them myself
I would of course, be only too glad, to add my name
to the list of supporters that you would, doubtless, find
would be adding their names, to display their disgust
that such irreverent matter
should be encouraged/ displayed, here, in CF

Thank you for keeping an eye on the ads... sometimes things slip through our filter of what's appropriate and we miss it.

The only way for us to update our filter, though, is if you provide us the URL of the page the ad was linking to. Then we can make sure inappropriate ads are removed.

Send the URL of the ad to LeeD or Arborvita.

I voiced my concern about it about a month ago but I still see some. I think they come in as part of a google ad package. Most are ok tho

Good evening everyone. Sorry it's so late. Had to drive an hour to pickup KittyStorm and bring her and my grandson back to my house for the weekend since her car wasn't starting. I also get the job of drive again on Sunday to take them back home.

So, if, any member is offended/ disgusted or, hurt
by the content of any ad shown within CF
then, you need to give the " url " of the ad to an administrator [?]

to do this, RIGHT CLICK ON THAT AD

in the little window that 'then' appears CLICK on 'PROPERTIES'

copy the address of the site...
note: this begins; http://<sitename> blah blah blah

This will give administrators a Direct Link they can use

I am sure that we can be reassured [?]
when we realize WHY this site was created
WHY, so many of us SUPPORT the site
unfortunately... advertising, carries some of the financial load

We petition and praise the Lord every day, don't we ?

Yes, sorry you had to work, buttercup! When I was receptionist for a car dealership a couple of years ago, I had to work on the 4th of July. Didn't like it either, but that's retail for you. It was one of their big days.

I am having problems with my character again. Lost the new one. So did a friend of mine when she tried to change clothes/background today. I just don't know what's up with that. I think it's happened to me more than some people because I tend to change clothes so much, but apparently something amiss with the system. Don't try to change your avatar today or you may have the same prob.

Home from work and enjoying relaxing. No plans for tonight -- do want to do laundry -- but do have a busy day tomorrow.

KayKay, thanks for letting us know about the avatar issue. I think it's time to change out of my evening gown -- was thinking of a picnic for the 4th -- but will just stay all dressed up.

I'm glad your home and relaxing now buttercup maybe you can see some fireworks from your backyard? We are staying home and usually we can see something from here.
Thanks for the warning Kay. I am leaving my avatar alone for now it just is too much of a hassle for me but it is easier then it use to be before the change.
