did you right click the highlighted text

when you did .... did you see a small menu

in the menu list ... did you see make a shortcut

were you able to have it pasted to your desktop

Okay, I clicked the quote button, highlighted the text, then right clicked. Here is where the problem is. The short menu I get does not have "short cut" or even the option to go to my desk top.

Do you have LEFT and Right buttons on your mouse ?

if, yes proceed as follows

okay this is a snap of your post [pretend it is someone else's]

click the Quote Button

and you SEE this

Highlight the required TEXT

Right-Click the required text

Locate the required tool

After clicking Create a Shortcut you SEE this CLICK [YES]

Find the shortcut on your desktop

Right Click the shortcut


In the Drop Down Menu click on PROPERTIES


Highlight the URL

Right Click the url and select COPY

PASTE THIS URL into your message



Lets see how this goes Sis'

Hey Dave--my right click does not have the same menu. I'll ask my computer savvy 15 year old when he gets home to help me....

Re, your being "adjudicated." I saw something about this in the announcement forum this morning. It's a bug, Dave, they are aware of it and are working on it. So don't worry about it.

iow: I cannot do this SHORTCUT 'direct' from a post
or-else, I too, will see a different right-click menu

Wow gotta love English chips. YUM I even had mushy peas while in England. Back to quitting smoking: one thing I found was that I actually felt worse before I felt better and not just from craving ciggies. MY lungs actually woke up and started clearing out all the built up GUNK that my paralyzed "cilia" (little hairs that brush out unneeded mucous from lungs) were previously unable to get rid of. I coughed a lot. But after 3 weeks it was fine. Hope the battle is moving forward. Cheers Jan

LOL, hopefully I don't look that bad in the mornings but sometimes I feel like it.

Keeptrying and I are both participating in a dress-up contest where the theme is "coffee!" I took a different approach but in RL, that's not far off the mark of how I look in the morning too!! I think she should win the contest, though, hands down! LOl!

Hi Springrain. Over in the coffee social group they are having a dress-up contest with a coffee theme. Stop by and see the pics they are pretty good. I would post the link but you know how handicapped I am when it comes to that.
