How do we get the old chit chat thread unstickied and get this one stickied?

What they do in another forum is report one of the posts and then ask for the thread to be stickied. Apparently they do it as soon as the new thread starts.

I guess we could report a post here? But not mine, please!

Loves hot dogs, watches Disney and also the weather channel. He'll tell you what the weather is going to be over and over. That's part of autism. I love him to peices. Does anyone have a child with autism?

and welcome, missmsdance!!! Good to see you here. I do not have a child with autism, but I DO have a daughter with Attention Deficit Disorder. She's now 23 yrs old and a wonderful child, but often needs help with staying focus on certain tasks.

Welcome, we chit chat about anything we want. It's a for anything thread to just stay in touch with each other and maybe learn more about others who post here. No I have no children with autism but have had friends with children that do. It's amazing the discoveries that are being made about autism! God bless. Keep

I think it's safe to say that a 'stickie' is when they put a particular thread, usually a favorite, oft visited one, at the top of the page, because the thread seems to stay alive longer than most. But you will soon find out that many of our threads are alive and thriving, even if they aren't stickied!

No I don't have a child or grand child with autism but I am quite familiar with the conditon as my background is nursing and present job is to support students with learning disablilities, physical and developmental delays and autism in the regular school system.
I have had my own challenges with my children with a physically disabled son with quite autistic like behaviours at times but not due to autism though. It is complex but would love to share with you if you want to PM me. My oldest has ADD and my youngest they thought was ADHD and maybe he is but he is also Gifted/Learning Disabled. All are adults now but I still have 3/4 sons at home. Jan

Thanks Ley, My computer or server, whichever is really slow today. Have you ever had one of those days that you just feel mentally "ickie". I barely have the energy to to walk across the room. I should go outside and just breath some fresh air. Thanks for the good wishes though, it makes me feel better.
