well, I think I'll turn in for the night... g'night all!, GBU... see ya all when I get up... oh about noon... haha. ^_^

So, you have been doing the NIGHT SHIFT then Maddi

I wonder how you would cope with appointments
that were tiimed BEFORE NOON [?]

As I, [once upon a time] had hospital/ doctor's surgery appointments
early in the mornings ie: 9.00am - 10.30am
I would, simply, not retire until AFTER the appointments
:)
and then might-not, get up again
until Tea-Time

Am getting feelings of, 'deja-vu'
regards, Springrain, clairefish and yourself

iow: I've been 'there' and worn that T-shirt!

Dave... basically, it's just the two of us now.. the kid's usually call in their own appt's and such, even tho they still both at home. They are both in and out so much.... at times, don't see the daughter for a few day's at a time...lol. But when hubby and I have appt's, we get up to go, then if we need to, nap for an hour or so...lol. Right now, we have no real time schedules.

Hello everyone! I'm trying to catch up. :)

Thank you all for the kind words, and to those who sent private messages. I have missed everyone here.

We had some difficulties with our rental house, whch was literally destroyed over 4 months of legal hassling to get the person removed. We spent another 3 months making repairs. Multiple thousands of dollars later, the job is done. We had to write off this fellow's debt to us to get him out.

Then this past month I have been sufferring with severe sinusitis, which just about did me in, physically and mentally. I am still recovering from this.

My faith in the Lord never wavered, but I did develop the "urge" to kill, if I may use that expression.

I am gradually getting back on my feet and hope to be posting soon.

Cheers, and God bless,

Jim

Jim--that experience would have challenged anyone. I'm glad that it's over and done with. I'm wondering if your sinus problems could be allergies. I'm glad you're getting better.

Mornin' all !! still cold here, no more snow yet. No plans for today, just kinda layin' around the house. Anybody else 'dress' their little guy's or gals...lol. My hubby get's a kick out of watchin' me dress mine, and what I put on her to wear everyday... hehe. I like 'dressing' her too...hehehe.

LOL, yes I dress my litte CF character--at times to look like me, like right now. But the sea in the background is just wishful thinking. I love the ocean...too bad I am hundreds of miles away from it.

Ariel you have way too much energy. Good for you. I don't think I could manage that much physical labour these days. I am a busy girl but it is mostly running around appointment type stuff. I do try to get physical with the house work but even that gets me down.

drjim it is great to see you back here. Ya know we lost our Chit chat sticky since you have been gone. When the thread rolled the sticky didn't lol. We have a couple of other fellowship threads on GE now too though.
Hope today sees you feeling much stronger and healthier. A good source of info swears by using something called Manauka Honey for all kinds of health issues topical as well as internal. Anyone ever used it? apparently it is for real and they are making special burn dressings using it now. Jan

I haven't used Manauka Honey--that sounds interesting. I just continue on my garlic supplements.

Well, I like to get things done outside on Saturdays. I had a lot to do this time. Also, I try to work out several times a week. Today I ran six miles again, and did 20 minutes of stretches before that. :)

Yes, it would be nice to have that kind of energy back again and just in case you folks reading this havn't lost yours...Praise God for it.

As long as I can run, I will. :)

When my grandbabies come over, they love to play with Grandma's 'CF Doll'. They always assure me they will make me look pretty.
Thank heavens!:)

Claire, you are beautiful, inside and out. I don't think your character--although lovely--does you justice at all.

At -32c this morning, I am not sure that getting up was a good idea. Warmer days are coming...are coming,,,are coming....

I think we all develop different sleep patterns, and have different requirements. These may change again with retirement.

Good day everyone. Take care, and bless.

Cheers,

Jim

Aw Jim, keep warm. Tea might be just the thing to warm you up.

And to warm you up on the inside, let's all give Jim a group hug:

:groupray:

oh boy.. a cake!...lol. yummm. haha, see ya later keep! :)

Maddi, I'd love a piece!
