Thank you so much, Jim, Cindy and Claire. I can't tell you how much it means to me to know that other Christians are praying. Thank you.

I just got back from the hospital a little while ago. Michelle is doing better. Her eyes are less jaundiced looking, her coloring is better. She was able to have chicken broth and jello for breakfast. She's still in some pain, and didn't get much sleep because the SICU was so noisy. I asked one of the nurses who got her some earplugs. I also made sure that they understood that she is a nursing mother and could get mastitis if she is not able to pump. I mentioned that several times last night, and was finally able to get them to understand, I hope.

She will be in SICU for at least another day and a half because of the lacerated liver. They are doing blood work and keeping tabs.

On the praise side--she does not need surgery. Her pelvis is broken in three places, but not broken all the way through, and not terribly displaced. It's painful, and she won't be able to walk for six weeks, but praise God again that it is not worse.

I just keep on thinking how God intervened. How could they have survived, except for God? They were driving a little 2002 Ford Focus, and got broadsided by an SUV going 70 MPH on a major highway. That intersection is dangerous and has a history of horrible accidents because there's a curve in the road and a dip that keeps each driver from seeing the other. That's what happened last night. The driver who hit them didn't even slow down.

I will keep you posted, but maybe if you want me to move this to the prayer thread I could do that. I just wanted to tell all of you, and I know you come to this thread. Thank you so much for your prayer. It means so very much.

It doesn't matter where you post it because those of us who come here often frequent all the threads. If you don't mind, since it seems like you have all you can handle, I'll go ahead and cut and paste it into the prayer thread since different folks seem to frequent that thread. And you tend to your loved ones. Tell your daughter that some of her mother's special friends are praying for her.

I wanted to tell you what God did yesterday. My daughter and her familly were in a collision in their little compact car--T-boned by an SUV traveling 70 mph, the police estimate. My daughter was in the passenger seat of the side that got hit, the four-year old in a booster seat behind her, and
the baby and two-year old in car seats in back.

My daughter was injured and is in the hospital with broken ribs, a fractured pelvis, a somewhat collapsed lung and slightly lacerated liver. In spite of her injuries, she did not need surgery. Her husband is bruised but otherwise okay.
The babies are fine, the four-year old lost a couple of baby teeth.

If the Lord puts her on your heart, please pray for her and her family. Her husband is really shaken up

Wow, what a week. And through it all, God has been gracious.

What a marvelous God we serve!

My daughter is out of the hospital. She will be in a wheelchair for a while, but she is quickly recovering. It is so obvious that God's people are praying!

Yes, Jim, I am looking forward to seeing what God does in the lives of my daughter, her husband and children. Surely He has something in mind, that He spared them.

To Him be all the glory!

Funny, we miss it most when we can't access it, even though there is nothing new or exciting.........Oh well, back to the norm again.

Another very hot day to-day, expecting to reach the 30's again and humid. I shan't be doing much, but will potter about in and out.

I checked it out the keyboard dave Not a pretty sight. lol And a royal pain. Anyway I loved the pics of the birds especially the eagle. We used to see many eagles around here not so much now. There has been major poaching going on for talons and beaks and feathers. Such a crime and investigations continue. WE had a fire at work (high school) yesterday. We thot it was a kid who had pulled the alarm but nope magnesium started to burn in metal shop. There was tons of smoke and some kids got minor smoke inhalation. We shall see what today brings. Hope you all have a super day I am off to work. Jan
